These companies create affiliations with resorts all over the world and then offer membership to owners of these resorts. They then let owners trade usage within the network.

The above method works especially well for individuals who have found a vacation destination that they'll want to return to again and again. But if you're the kind of vacationer who would prefer to explore a different region of the world every year or every other year, you might want to purchase a timeshare membership with a vacation club like Bluegreen or Marriott. These clubs will allow you to travel to any of their destinations in the world. Whichever method you choose, timeshares can help you save money on your worldwide vacations every year.
